Hello! I’m Sarah
I’m Sarah Moore (she/her), a trauma therapist and social worker with over 15 years of experience supporting people who carry a lot—emotionally, mentally, and historically.
I specialize in complex trauma, dissociation, and neurodivergent-affirming care. Whether you’re navigating internal disconnection, emotional overwhelm, or deep healing, I offer a safe, steady space to begin—or continue—that work.
I’m certified in EMDR, DBT, CBT, and Addiction Studies, Concurrent Disorders, and trained in Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, and trauma-informed neurodivergence support.
I’m known for offering a calm, steady presence and a space where you don’t have to filter or hold back. Clients often tell me they feel safe to be fully themselves in our sessions—whether that means sharing something hard, sitting in silence, or simply showing up as they are. I bring a welcoming, down-to-earth energy to the work we do together, and I deeply value curiosity, consent, and collaboration. Whatever you’re carrying, you won’t have to carry it alone here.
At Anchor & Light, Counselling, therapy is relational, anti-oppressive, and deeply respectful of your story. We move at the pace of trust.
You are Welcome Here
Who I Work With
At Anchor & Light Counselling, I offer affirming, trauma-informed therapy for:
People navigating complex trauma or C-PTSD
Individuals experiencing dissociation, identity confusion, or internal disconnection
Those living with DID, OSDD, or chronic shutdown
Neurodivergent folks, including those with ADHD or Autism
Survivors of sexual trauma, religious trauma, or childhood abuse
LGBTQ+ individuals seeking a space that affirms all identities and expressions
People exploring gender, navigating transition, or recovering from gender-based harm
Anyone who feels “too much,” “too scattered,” or like they don’t fit into typical therapy spaces
This is a space where your whole self—your voice, your body, your identity—is welcomed and respected.
You don’t need a diagnosis to be heard.
You don’t need to be okay to be welcomed.
